Oh Richmond, we love you! Not only do you have a fantastic art, music, and beer scene, but you have SO many restaurants for us to choose from for our weekly agency lunch. It’s no surprise that we’re HUGE foodies and lunch is our favorite time of the day. But it can sometimes be difficult to pick where to eat. There are so many amazing options. 

If you face a similar dilemma as to where to go for lunch in RVA, then you’re in luck! We’ve broken down some of our tried and true lunch spots: 

Dave’s Pick: The Sidewalk Cafe

Why go? As a true Richmond staple in The Fan, Sidewalk Cafe has everything you can ever imagine on the menu – from mouth watering gyro sandwiches to delicious chicken parmesan. Even the pickiest eater can find something amazing to eat!

Dave’s Fave: The Greek Nachos

Jeremy’s Pick: Beauvine Burger Concept

Why go? Besides being located right next to our office (which is a major plus!), Beauvine hands down has the best burger in town. They’re known for supporting local farms, using healthy ingredients, and even providing handcrafted sodas. Be sure to go on Mondays for their Happy Meal special – any burger, fry, and handcrafted soda or drink special is only $10! 

Jeremy’s Fave: Beauvine Turkey Burger Lettuce Wrap with Sweet Potato Fries

MaryJo’s Pick: Pizza & Beer of Richmond

Why go? PBR sure does know the way to our hearts. The tasty restaurant has awesome beers on tap, a large outdoor patio with games, and all the pizza you could ever want. Get the pizza of your dreams, no matter how weird.

MaryJo’s Fave: The Hipster

Mary’s Pick: The Continental Westhampton

Why go? If you’ve never been, you’d do well to pop into The Continental Westhampton on Libbie and Grove. The sandwiches, salads, burgers, nachos, and everything in between are always sooo good. You won’t find a bad meal on the menu. Plus, you’ll have leftovers for lunch the following day. And let’s not forget their delicious vodka lime sodas!

Mary’s Fave: The Club Sandwich

Elyssa’s Pick: Taste

Why go? As a Virginia Beach native, Elyssa grew up grabbing Taste sandwiches before heading to a day at the beach. Now that Taste has made its way to Richmond, it’s a reminder of her childhood that she gets to enjoy all the time! Every sandwich, salad, and side is made fresh daily. Plus, they have a fun specialty foods market filled with wines, cheeses, gifts, desserts, and more.

Elyssa’s Fave: The Ghent Sandwich with House Sauce

Brett’s Pick: Soul Taco

Where can you get a chicken pot pie taco or a flamin hot cheeto corn on the cob? Soul Taco, that’s where! Located in Jackson Ward and Downtown, Soul Taco is the go-to spot for out-of-the-box Latin American and Southern tacos that are packed with SOUL. And flavor.

Brett’s Fave: Low Country Camarones

Meggan’s Pick: The Daily Kitchen

Why go? Healthy, local, fresh, organic, and amazing… all words to describe The Daily! They’re known for putting a unique spin on their dishes, which are always presented as if they were in a magazine. In the warmer months, their outdoor patio is the perfect spot to watch all of Carytown. 

Meggan’s Fave: The Buddha Bowl

Daniel’s Pick: Commercial Taphouse

Why go?  Supporters of local farmers, purveyors and breweries. they embody all things RVA.  The music is always good and the vibes are always right. They have everything from their signature house dogs, specialty sandwiches, Maria’s tamales, tacos, empanadas and much more!

Daniel’s Fave: The Wings

Madison’s Pick: Greenbriar Cafe & Coffeehouse

Why go? Love breakfast food for lunch? So does Madison. At the Greenbriar, all of their breakfast foods are made from scratch in house – from the sausage to the bagels to the pastries, each item is lovingly prepared by the chef-owner. And their coffee is some of the best in town!

Madison’s Fave: The Nancy Bagel and a Birthday Cake Latte
