Helping RVA’s Fluffy Companions Live Long, Healthy Lives

Back to TKA News

For many people, pets are more than just cute animals that live in our homes – they’re family. This year, we are supporting the 12th Annual Pets on Parade Benefit & Auction in FETCH a Cure’s goal to help Richmond’s fluffy companions live long, healthy lives.

Our Involvement:

2019 is our second year as a sponsor for Pets on Parade! We love supporting an event where we get to pet some pups, enjoy delicious food and drinks, and have a blast- all for the pets!

Last year, we auctioned off mural space on the side of our building for one lucky winner to have their pet painted. We are happy to announce we will are doing the same this year! The artist painting the mural is Nils Westergard– you can check out some of his work on the Richmond SPCA building. The winner will also receive a special reveal party to show off their mural. Check out these pictures from last year’s party:

We love our furry friends, and along with giving them lots of belly rubs and nose boops, we want them to be healthy. How does Pets on Parade play a role in keeping Richmond’s pets wagging? Check it out:

The Event:

The Pets on Parade Benefit & Auction supports FETCH a Cure in their mission to further pet cancer awareness, education, and treatment. The event also aids the Companions in Crisis program, which helps families whose pets have been diagnosed with cancer pay for life-saving treatments.

Pets on Parade features local food and specialty drinks, entertainment, a silent auction, and a live auction. We even brought our four-legged team members along this year (Hi Azul!)

The 12th annual Pets on Parade Benefit & Auction was held at the beautiful Main Street Station this past Friday on June 7th. Check out for more information.
