At The King Agency, we take pride in the things we’re really good at — creative problem solving, making clients happy for over 25 years, drafting strong, strategic marketing plans for each client, just to name a few. But we are also really good at bragging about the latest restaurant we went to. We always enjoy tasty meals for agency lunch spots, and being in The Fan, there are ENDLESS amounts of delicious places surrounding us. Here are some of our all-time favorite local eats!

Elyssa – The Continental Westhampton

“The Continental has the best club sandwich in all of Richmond – and their nachos are so delicious! All of their portions are huge so you have leftovers for the next day. Plus, they decorate for every holiday, so you always know you’re walking into a festive and fun atmosphere!”

Meggan – The Daily

“It was the very first restaurant I went to on the day I moved to Richmond after graduating from college. I love the open-air vibe and the food is absolutely incredible. I highly recommend the Crispy Brussels Sprouts (I swear I could eat 5 orders of these by myself) and the Buddha Bowl with chicken!”

Dave – The Sidewalk Cafe

“Their menu is giant so you can always find something that fits your mood. My go-tos consists of three things: the Greek Nachos, Sidewalk Sub, and Fantastic Chicken Sandwich. The nachos are giant, so bring a friend to share in all of the hot cheese, feta, jalapeños, and tzatziki goodness. The sub is a hefty stack of deli meat, fresh tomatoes, lettuce, and Italian dressing. The Fantastic Chicken Sandwich is stuffed with chicken, bacon, and BBQ sauce…the name hits the nail on the head for this one.”

Taylor – Kahlos Taqueria & Bar

“Located in Church Hill, Kahlos has become one of my favorite places to eat! They have delicious tacos, burritos, and nachos — margs too! During the summer, it is nice to sit on their patio under the bistro lights. I love picking up lunch there too. They’re always so fast and online ordering is super easy. 5 stars!”

Jenna – Garnett’s

“I’ll go on the record saying this is the best chicken salad sandwich in Richmond. I am also a huge fan of their Point Guard sandwich — the caramelized onions, jalapenos, turkey, bacon…my mouth is watering! You can’t skip dessert when you’re there either because their banana pudding is out of this world. Next time you’re in The Fan, you need to snag a sandwich from here.”

Jeremiah – Lee’s Famous Recipe Chicken

“Lee’s Famous Chicken lives up to its name. Some of the best fried chicken in Richmond. Whenever I’m in the mood for fried chicken and some soul food, I drive through Lee’s. Its consistency makes it my go-to, diet-breaking spot in RVA.”

Suzy – Joe’s Inn

“With all of the great restaurant choices in Richmond, it’s hard to pick just one! But if I have to choose, I’d say Joe’s Inn is one of my favorite go-to places, especially when I’m in The Fan. My favorite item on the menu has to be spaghetti because it comes loaded with flavorful tomato sauce, melty cheese, and perfectly cooked noodles. Plus, it weighs a TON, so you’ll have leftovers for days. Too good!”
