Position Summary

The Social Media Manager is the agency’s primary advisor on all social media channels, including social networks, content sharing sites and blogs. This person must demonstrate extensive social media experience.

Candidates should be familiar in participating in a wide variety of social media activities such as content creation, community development and management, social listening, commenting, etc., and is well-connected with the broader social media world.

The Social Media Manager must be able to think strategically, and willing and able to roll up his/her sleeves to help implement social media programs for agency clients.

Must be able to work with team members to manage and execute social campaigns for clients. They are responsible for working closely with account managers and the creative team to develop engaging content for the digital persona of brands.

We are looking for a creative storyteller, a tribe-builder, someone who knows how to connect with people in a real and genuine way as well as someone who also can change hats to be the agency’s social media data, numbers and analytics expert.


  • Create comprehensive social media strategies, defining programs that use social media marketing techniques to increase visibility, membership and traffic across all client brands
  • Launch relevant content on social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram and Google
    Develop brand awareness and monitor of online reputation across platforms
  • Monitor social media trends, tools and applications, and appropriately apply knowledge to increasing client use of social media
  • Promote content through social advertising
  • Develop a strategic publishing schedule to maximize engagement and awareness per platform
  • Identify target customers and platforms they are active on
  • Set clear objectives and key performance indicators based on client’s goals
  • Work with creative team for design elements that are engaging and actionable
  • Creative writing that incorporates keywords and elements of a brand’s message
  • Measures the impact of social media on overall marketing efforts.
